| Sustainability Week |

Why did it happen?

Who is it intended for?

The initiative is aimed at employees of the General Secretariat and/or the Ministry, depending on the topic to be addressed.

For reasons of proximity, some activities of the Week are often extended to workers from other offices and bodies based in the building at the Ministry.

What resources?

The initiative is organized by the Group of the General Secretariat for Sustainability, with the support of the Nucleus of Innovation Quality and Communication.

As it is not a funded activity, the Sustainability Group seeks to respond to the established programme by using the critical mass available in the Ministry, or entities willing to contribute free of charge.

How to reach it?

This practice is replicable by any organization that intends to develop and/or implement social responsibility or sustainability actions.

  • The actions to be developed are framed in a specific theme;

  • The prepared materials are made available on the Intranet and disseminated by email;
  • The Week includes a formal Opening Session by the Board;
  • The proposed activities are varied and may take the form of:
    • Lunchtime conversations, games, movie screenings, walks, quizzes, formal presentations of results, among others.
    • Informal and participatory events such as seminars or workshops.
