Open tender with 28.3 million euros to increase capacity in Crèches and Residences of Autonomization and Inclusion
under RRP
The Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security launched the competition to create more places in Crèches and Residences for Empowerment and Inclusion, with a total allocation of €28.3 million, under the RRP. Applications can be submitted between 7 November and 30 December 2022.
This amount is expected to create an additional 5,500 vacancies in the two social responses, with an amount of 20.3 million euros for responses in crèche and about 8 million for responses in Residences of Autonomization and Inclusion.
"This is an innovative competition, which encourages the conversion of inactive pre-school facilities into crèches, with a simpler, faster and less costly process, also giving priority to projects in areas where the coverage rate is lower, that is, where there is more demand and less responsiveness", says Ana Mendes Godinho, Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security.
