On 1 September 2021, the António Sérgio Cooperative for the Social Economy (CASES) launched the 1st edition of the António Sérgio contest (1883-1969) – called for an essay. This project consists of a call to work on the life and/or work of António Sérgio (1883-1969), in order to promote the study of his life, work, thought and action, thus bringing his unique genius to the 21st century. XXI and contributing to the mission of dissemination of his life and work assumed by CASES.

Counting as a central theme the life and/or work of António Sérgio, with the applications taking place between 1 September and 31 December, the Prize will be the edition of the winning work and the award of a cash payment in the amount of € 500.
