Law No 13/2023 of 3 April 2023 amending the Labour Code and related legislation was recently published as part of the Decent Work Agenda.

The changes will enter into force on May 1st, with the Decent Work Agenda and the Appreciation of Youth in the Labour Market.

The Decent Work and Youth Enhancement Agenda includes 70 measures at the service of workers and enterprises, and is based on 4 main axes: Tackling precariousness, valuing young people in the labour market, promoting better reconciliation between work, personal and family life, and fostering collective bargaining and worker participation.
