Social Security reinforces videoconferencing service
67 branches across the country
The video service is a new relationship channel of the Social Security Institute, which allows citizens and companies the convenience of being served on the date and time previously scheduled, without travel and without having to remain in queues.
This service channel, which is an alternative to face-to-face service, allows citizens and companies to be serviced on the date and time previously scheduled without having to travel and without having to remain in queues.
The marking of the video-service can be done through the SIGA markings portal in https://siga.marcacaodeatendimento.pt/ or via the Social Security Line (210 545 400 or 300 502 502, working days, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.).
When making the appointment for video-service the citizen receives in his email a message with the instructions, the link to access the videoconference, the validation code to insert and the link for cancellation if he cannot attend. To access the video service in the best conditions you must use a computer or laptop, with front camera, speaker and microphone.
With this step, the Social Security Institute consolidates this new service channel and confirms its determination in the search for solutions oriented to people's needs, easy access, close proximity and greater availability, this being also an instrument for a more efficient management of Social Security resources.
