António Dornelas Award 2025
Applications open until 31 January
As part of the celebrations of the centenary of the Ministry of Labour and Social Welfare, the Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security (MTSSS) created the “António Dornelas Prize” in 2017.
In 2025 it will have its 9th edition, continuing to have as its main objective to reward scientific or technical works, which have been developed by students, researchers and university professors, covering both the areas of work, employment, vocational training and industrial relations, as well as the areas of social security and inclusion of people with disabilities.
The award is also a tribute to the university professor António Dornelas, sociologist, specialist in labour affairs, coordinator of the 2006 Green Paper on Labour Relations, researcher at the Centre for Research and Studies in Sociology, advisor to the President of the Republic for Labour and Social Affairs and Secretary of State for Labour and Training.
In view of the above, we would like to ask for your support in disseminating this initiative to teachers, researchers, students and collaborators of your institution.
