Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security presents investments of 3.1 million euros in Alentejo
38 applications approved
The acquisition of 46 electric vehicles for home support in the district of Évora and the construction of a new home in Almodôvar will be possible through an investment of 3.1 million euros. The announcement was made by the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Ana Mendes Godinho, on a visit to Alentejo.
In Évora, the Minister participated in a signing session of terms of acceptance of the PRR Social Green Mobility, worth approximately 1.1 million euros. This investment results from 38 approved applications and allows financing the acquisition of 46 electric vehicles for social sector institutions with home support service and cooperation with Social Security.
In Ourique, Ana Mendes Godinho inaugurated a Residential Home, and participated in the signing session of a PARES 3.0 contract with the Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Almodôvar. In an overall investment of two million euros, this contract supports the rehabilitation works of a building where a Third Age home will be installed in Almodôvar.
These initiatives took place as part of a visit dedicated to the social sector, which the Minister held in Évora, Ourique and Almodôvar.
