Reactivated measure to support Human Resources in homes
The Ministry of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security has reactivated the Support Measure for Emergency Reinforcement in Social and Health Equipment (MAREESS) reaffirming its commitment to achieving a good social response, more precisely in the fight against isolation, especially among older people. The measure has already entered into force and applications for the planned support can be submitted until July 31.
Created in April 2020, as part of the Covid-19 pandemic, this measure contributes to ensuring the responsiveness of public institutions and the solidarity sector active in the social and health area, namely health services, hospitals, homes or residential structures for elderly people and people with disabilities and disabilities, as well as contributing to promoting the employability of unemployed people.
The measure has already allowed the integration of 30,000 people in more than 2,000 entities and, to date, 66 million euros have been paid.
With the extension of this measure, a monthly grant of €443.20 will continue to be awarded to unemployed people receiving unemployment benefits, or €664.80 for the rest, with an increase of 30% for more qualified professionals.
Entities hiring participants placed under this measure for an indefinite period are entitled to an employment prize. The support will be 7091.20 euros, increased by 30% for hiring the underrepresented gender in the profession.
Unemployed persons, workers with suspended contracts or reduced working hours, self-employed persons and also workers with part-time contracts are covered by MAREESS. Students or trainees are also covered, provided they are at least 18 years old and refugees and beneficiaries of temporary protection.
Applications for support under MAREESS run until 31 July and can be made using the form available on the portal iefponline and the conditions of access, rights and obligations consulted at Regulation.
