Green Paper on the Future of Work | Consultation period
Green Paper on the Future of Work | Consultation period
Until 22 June 2021
The digital revolution, artificial intelligence and automation are profoundly transforming the labour market as we know it. The future of work presents complex challenges in terms of qualifications, labour relations regulation, social protection and work-life balance. These factors can lead to significant changes, impacting not only today's but also future generations.
In this sense, the Government moved towards the broad and comprehensive discussion of the Labour Green Paper, which was committed to all: academics, thinkers, civil society and social partners. The aim is to create guidelines to prepare the country for the challenges of the future of work, to turn uncertainties into opportunities, to respond to the challenges posed by the digital revolution in the areas of skills, productivity, working conditions and pay, security and stability of industrial relations, inclusion and social protection. And in this way, ensure the promotion of the decent work agenda.
Therefore, a Preliminary version of the Green Paper on the Future of Work is in public consultation until 22 June 2021.
