IEFP renews protocol with Google and the Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications
Training can be carried out in five different areas
IEFP renewed the protocol signed in 2021 with Google and the Portuguese Association for the Development of Communications for the free allocation of 6,000 licenses for online courses in the computer field.
The training can be carried out in five different areas: Information Technology (IT) Technical Support, Project Management, Data Analysis, User Experience Design. This year also includes the course ofDigital Marketing & E-Commerce.
The vacancies are aimed at 50% women, promoting gender equality in this area of activity. In order to also enhance the development of skills outside the major urban centers, 50% of the vacancies must still be occupied by people residing outside the districts of Lisbon and Porto.
Applicants must have completed the 12th year and do not require prior training or experience. However, if the choice is for one of the 4 courses taught in English, a good command of this language is essential.
If you have at least the 12th full year, good command of English for the ‘Digital Marketing & E-Commerce', ‘Data Analysis’, ‘Project Management’ and ‘User Experience Design’, if you are interested in changing your life and want a technological career, which is essential for all organisations, apply for these trainings. The course you choose, in the registration, will be done in the modalitye-learning, through the platformCoursera, adapted to their availability.
Each of the courses has about 120 hours of training and, by way of example, if you dedicate 2h/day (10h/week) will be completed in 3 months. Upon completion, you will obtain the respective certificateGoogle, issued byCoursera/Google .
In order to optimise the use of licences, interruptions of more than 15 days will not be allowed, so at the end of this period, the licence will be reallocated to another applicant.
Free access to the 6,000 places for training is granted in the order of entry of the applications, respecting the following criterion:
- A female gender candidate
- A male gender candidate
- Number of places for each course
