At a time when it is one year since the inauguration of the XXIII Constitutional Government, the website "The Government Makes" is launched, a platform exclusively dedicated to the monitoring of the Government Program and the accountability of government action.
On this platform, citizens will be able to consult information on compliance with the Government Programme as well as the main governance milestones of each Government Area, which in many cases go beyond the Government Programme.
The data are presented in a global way but also through the five axes in which the Government Programme is structured:
- Climate change
- Demographics
- Inequality
- Digital Society
- Good governance
Thus, in compliance with a measure included in the Government Programme that provides for regular accountability, the Government continues to bet on transparency – in this case, in relation to its government action –, strengthening citizens’ trust in the information provided.
The page, which was designed by the Government and results from an internal and permanent monitoring, is already online and can be consulted here.
