The measure Inner Employment MORE is defined in the Ministerial Implementing Order No 174/2020 of 17 August 2020, and is part of the Work in the Interior Programme, established by Council of Ministers Resolution No 16/2020 of 17 March 2020, which provides for a wide range of interventions with a view to promoting development and territorial cohesion.

The granting of the support provided for in the measure Employment Interior MAIS, covers:

• employment contracts (open-ended, fixed-term contracts of an initial duration of 12 months or more and open-ended contracts of an unspecified duration of 12 months or more)
• the creation of one's own job or business, in a place located in the territory of the interior, with which a change of residence is associated.

The incentive to settle in inland territories includes financial support for the change of residence of the recipient, which will be of a higher amount if he or she is accompanied by members of his or her household, and additional support to cover the costs of transporting goods to the new residence.

Applications for this measure can be submitted from 9 a.m. on August 20, on the iefponline portal, by filling in the appropriate form, available on the page relating to the Measure, and can be submitted within a maximum of 90 calendar days after the conclusion of the employment contract, creation of the job itself or company.
