18 November marks the European Day for the Protection of Children against Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, established in 2015 by decision of the Council of Ministers of the Council of Europe.

The 2024 edition focuses on the issue of ‘Emerging Technologies: Risks and Opportunities for the Protection of Children from Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Abuse”. You can access the information leaflet in Portuguese here on this edition of this European Day.
