Presentation of the Study on Collective Bargaining in 1999 and 2019

On 21 June 2024, at 09.30 a.m., at the Noble Hall of the Ministry of Labour and Social Solidarity, the Centre for Labour Relations (CRL) presented the ‘Study on Collective Bargaining in 1999 and 2019’.
This study analyzes collective bargaining in the years 1999 and 2019, aiming to determine the evolution recorded in the two decades between those years, as well as to deepen the knowledge about the dynamics of collective bargaining, in addition to the annual reflection promoted by the CRL in the context of the annual report on the evolution of collective bargaining.
The session was opened by the Minister of Labour, Solidarity and Social Security, Professor Maria do Rosário Palma Ramalho.
The study was presented by the team of authors, Pedro Furtado Martins and Paula Agapito, and then commented by two renowned experts on the labour market and industrial relations, professors Antonio Figueiredo and Antonio Monteiro Fernandes.
